CapnMark ("the app", "we", "us") is a macOS screenshot annotation application. This Privacy Policy describes how CapnMark handles information when you use the app.
No Data Collection
CapnMark does not collect, record, store, transmit, or share any personal information or user data. Specifically:
- No screenshots or images are sent off your device.
- No usage analytics or telemetry are collected.
- No account or sign-in is required.
- No third-party SDKs or analytics frameworks are included in the app.
Screen Recording Permission
CapnMark requests the macOS Screen Recording permission in order to capture your selected screen region. This permission is used solely to perform the screen capture you initiate. Captured content is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
Local Storage
Any screenshots or exported images are saved only to locations you explicitly choose on your own device (e.g. your Downloads folder or clipboard). CapnMark does not maintain any database or persistent storage of your captures.
Children's Privacy
CapnMark does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
Third-Party Services
CapnMark does not integrate with any third-party services, advertising networks, or data brokers.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes in the future, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. We will not make material changes without updating this page.
